Residential Park Home Owners now Qualify for the extra £400 Cost of Living Energy Rebate

I’m sure every Home owners is aware of the Governments £400 Cost of Living Energy Rebate?

What you may not have been aware of is the fact that people living in Residential Park Homes/Mobile Homes did not qualify for the rebate.   This I believe was due to the fact that on some sites the home owner may not pay their energy bills directly or have their own meter or may be on a park where the whole energy bill is split equally between the residents or may even be on a park that includes the energy bill is provided as part of the pitch fees!  In these extreme cases it may be almost impossible to work out your exact usage but this should not matter due to the fact the Government have deemed fit to supply everyone notwithstanding means testing or actual energy usage a flat £400 rebate!  So the fact you may not have an individual energy meter you should still qualify for a £400 rebate.

The good news now is that the Government have backed down and changed their minds and will now supply all Residential Park Home Owners with the £400 rebate.  Lets hope they don’t have to jump through hoops to prove they qualify for the rebate.

However this if for Residential Park Home/mobile Home owners only and if you are living illegally in a Holiday Home, Static Caravan or Holiday Lodge on a Holiday Park they you should not qualify.  Yet another reason NOT TO LIVE on a Holiday Park!

Thumbs up
